Container/Tube: Green-top (heparin) gel tube (or microcontainer with plasma separator gel)

Specimen Volume: 1 mL of heparinized plasma

Transport Temperature: Refrigerate

Collection Instructions: Specimen must be centrifuged within 2 hours of draw. Forward promptly.

Critical values (automatic call-back):

for Pediactric and adult: ≥ 50.0 ng/mL (first time only)
