Specimen Requirements

Specimen must arrive within 72 hours of draw.

 

Container/Tube: Gold-top serum gel tube

Specimen Volume: 1 mL of serum

Transport Temperature: Refrigerate

Collection Instructions: Draw blood in a gold-top serum tube from a fasting (preferred) patient.  Centrifuge within 2 hours of collection, then refrigerate.  Forward promptly.
