Specimen Requirements

Specimen must arrive within 72 hours of draw.

Acceptable Specimens:

Peritoneal dialysate fluid only

Container/Tube: Sterile vial

Specimen Volume: 1 mL of peritoneal dialysate fluid

Transport Temperature: Refrigerate

Collection Instructions: If bloody, remove from cells within 1 hour of collection.
