Serum
Container/Tube: Gold-top serum gel tube

Specimen Volume: 0.5 mL of serum
Transport Temperature: Refrigerate
Collection Instructions: Forward promptly.

Note: 1. Indicate serum.
2. Label specimen appropriately (serum).

Males: 0.7-1.3 mg/dL

Females: 0.6-1.1 mg/dL

Critical value (automatic call-back):

Pediatric patients up to 21 years old ≥ 1.5 mg/dL
