Specimen Volume:
33-60 mL voided urine
Specimen Handling/Transport:
- Within 30 minutes of collection mix voided urine 2:1 with supplied PreservCyt for total volume 50mL
- Immediately transport to the Cytology laboratory for processing
Specimen Stability/Storage:
Refrigerate specimen. Do not freeze. Use cold pack for transport, making sure cold pack is not in direct contact with specimen
