Amount needed: 10mL (1mL minimum). If a conformation test is added on, minimum volume is 5 mL.

Preparation of patient: None

Stability: 4 weeks refrigerated or at room temperature. 6 weeks frozen.

Handling/Transport: Transfort refrigerated or ambient

Adulteration may cause erroneous results. Reject any sample where adulterants are suspected.

Adulterants such as bleach or water will cause erroneous results. Boric acid as a perservative.
